meet MITCH HOFFMAN
Established MAH Mental Performance after looking at the present landscape of athletics and the pressures to perform our athletes endure. Mitch Hoffman was a college baseball ALL-AMERICAN and ALL-DECADE Team Catcher at Lafayette College from 1994-98. He then went on to receive his Masters in Educational Administration from Columbia University. During his education he became the Athletic Director at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, CT. A tremendous experience allowing him to gain knowledge he didn’t understand until now.
After a positive 8 years at SLS, Mitch went on to establish a few businesses all related to the sports and the education world. Running parallel, he also maintained a foot in the coaching sector at numerous levels. Most notable are two accolades that standout – Coaching NCHS Baseball to back to back state championships in four short years and winning the state title in 2013 after a 60 year drought. Following that he then took a youth team to 2 world series experiences both finishing top in the country. Looking back, it was all built on culture and development of the mind and believing with a positive mindset.
As a result, MAH Mental Performance was born organically and through the mentorship of great people like Brian Cain and others culminating Mitch’s experiences both in sports and life.
Mitch resides in New Canaan, CT with his wife Erin and three boys Maddox, Brody and Cole. Loves coaching and golf as well as simply watching amateur sports.
1 on 1 Coaching
A very personal approach to ANCHORING your mindset. This approach is very exclusive in th fact that Mitch is directly focused weekly on you the Athlete in every facet of life in order to achieve the goals established.Weekly you will get Mitch directly working on journaling, schedule, habit share, etc. to inevitably establish consistency which structures an anchored mindset.
TEAM / GROUP Exclusive 1 on 1 Coaching
Mitch will work with a limited number of teams per year based on the commitment required to see ultimate success. This is a 10-week “Anchors Down” approach in order to establish culture and proper mindset not only for individuals, but for the teams success. Can be done in person, on field or via ZOOM, but regardless every player for 10 weeks will get a personal approach with in a team setting.
